Fans lost it when Beyoncé announced her next album would be country-themed, and she has a few more surprises up her sleeve. The Grammy-winning artist announced her next album will be titled Act II: Cowboy Carter ahead of its release later this month.

Beyoncé’s next LP was initially known as Act II because it was announced as the second installment of the three-part project which also includes its predecessor Renaissance. This record is now just two weeks away and Queen B finally announced its official title: Cowboy Carter.

She teased its release with an image of a saddle with metallic details, which takes center stage on her official website. This image isn’t the official album cover, and it most likely marks the singer’s artistic transition to country from the disco sound of Renaissance since the cover of this album showed her riding a silver horse with a bedazzled saddle.

Cowboy Carter will hit the shelves on March 29, and Beyoncé gave us a taste of things to come with singles “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages”. “Texas Hold ‘Em” made quite a splash following its release and topped both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts, becoming the first song by a Black woman to top the latter chart.
