We’ve seen Bill Burr lead countless Netflix comedy specials, and he’s ready for his next big step. The famous stand-up comedian joined forces with the streamer for his first film as a director – Old Dads – and the first trailer for this comedy is as hilarious as it gets.

According to Netflix’s official synopsis, Old Dads centers on “three best friends (Bill Burr, Bobby Cannavale, Bokeem Woodbine) [who] become fathers later in life and find themselves battling preschool principals, millennial CEOs, and anything created after 1987.”

Burr plays Jack, a dad who’s struggling to fit in at his son’s progressive preschool and constantly getting into fights with its principal. His best friend Connor (Cannavale) is trying way too hard to be cool because he can’t let go of his youth, while Mike (Woodbine) is dealing with an identity crisis after finding out his much younger girlfriend is pregnant.

Old Dads will also star Katie Aselton (Bombshell), Rachael Harris (The Hangover), Jackie Tohn (GLOW), Reign Edwards (The Wilds), and Miles Robbins (Blockers). In addition to directing the film, Burr also co-wrote the script alongside Ben Tishler and serves as one of the executive producers.

The release date of Old Dads is just around the corner and it will start streaming on Netflix on October 20.
