It’s been almost two months since Adele dropped her comeback single “Easy on Me”, but her chart domination isn’t over just yet. This song returned atop the Billboard Hot 100 for the seventh week in a row, while Adele’s album 30 hit its third week atop the Billboard 200 chart.

“Easy on Me” managed to stand its ground despite a slew of Christmas songs entering the chart. It was followed by Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You”, Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”, and Burl Ives’ “A Holly Jolly Christmas”, among others.

Adele is currently the only act to command the Hot 100 for seven weeks or more with a lead single from three consecutive albums. Before “Easy on Me”, she also hit no. 1 for seven or more weeks with “Rolling in the Deep” from 21 and “Hello” from 25.

Adele’s chart domination also continues on the Billboard 200, where her latest album 30 returned to the top spot for the third week. It sold 193,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during its latest week on the chart, capturing the largest third week for an album in more than three years, since Drake’s Scorpion in 2018.
