Lizzo and Cardi B managed to create a lot of buzz with their first collaboration “Rumors”, and it was just a matter of time before this song started climbing to the top of the charts. Following its debut, “Rumors” debuted in the top five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“Rumors” entered the chart at no. 4, becoming Lizzo’s third and Cardi B’s 10th top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100. The song had an amazing debut with 30.1 million in radio audience, 20.9 million streams, and 25,200 sold copies and also hit no. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

“Rumors” marks Lizzo’s first release in over two years, since the release of her third studio album Cuz I Love You. The “Truth Hurts” singer is currently working on its follow-up, but when she discussed it back in October, she said there are a few more songs left to write.

When it comes to the rest of this week’s Billboard Hot 100, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber returned to the no. 1 spot for the third week with their collaboration “Stay”. Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” climbed to no. 2, while Olivia Rodrigo was close behind with “Good 4 U”.
