Back in April, the 2020 Billboard Music Awards was postponed due to the pandemic, and they’ve just set a new date of October 14.

The ceremony was originally set to air live on NBC from Las Vegas on April 29, and a new format has yet to be decided.

As was previously announced, Kelly Clarkson will be hosting the show for her third consecutive time.

Last year, the show averaged 8 million viewers.

The Billboard Music Awards nominees and winners are decided based on fan interactions with music like album and digital songs sales, streaming, radio airplay, and touring and social engagement, which are tracked by Billboard and its data partners including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound.

The awards show is produced by Dick Clark Productions.
