After teasing fans on Instagram last week that something new was on the way with a post captioned, “things are comingggg” and then posting a 15-second clip captioned “Happier Than Ever”, Billie Eilish confirmed that her second album will be arriving this summer.
The follow-up to 2019’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, Happier Than Ever will be released on July 30.
“MY NEW ALBUM Happier Than Ever OUT JULY 30TH! this is my favorite thing I’ve ever created and I am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” Eilish wrote on Instagram. “I can’t even tell you. I’ve never felt so much love for a project than I do for this one. hope you feel what I feel.”
The singer also revealed that a new single from the album would be coming out today.
The album, which was written by Eilish with her brother and collaborator Finneas, will feature 16 tracks, including previously released singles, “Therefore I Am”, and “My Future”.
