After a lot of anticipation, Billie Eilish’s sophomore studio album Happier Than Ever is finally here and she came up with the perfect way to celebrate its release. The music video for the titular single “Happier Than Ever” came out on the same day when the album hit the shelves.

The self-directed video opens with Eilish talking on the phone in a vintage room, but the mood quickly shifts as the room is flooded. The young singer deals with this catastrophe by heading to the rooftop and dancing in the heavy rain.

The Grammy-winning singer described “Happier Than Ever” as the “most therapeutic song” that she had ever written or recorded because it allowed her to get loud about the things that have been weighing her down for a long time.

“I just screamed my lungs out and could barely talk afterward, which was very satisfying to me somehow. I had wanted to get those screams out for a very long time and it was very nice to,” Eilish told Spotify.

Happier Than Ever was released on July 30th, and it also includes previously released singles “My Future”, “Therefore I Am”, “Your Power”, “Lost Cause”, and “NDA”.
