It looks like Billie Eilish has given us a Christmas gift just before the holiday season.

The singer took to Instagram Stories and hinted that she’ll be releasing her sophomore album. “OK, I have a fun story to tell you,” Eilish said.”But first, f–k you guys. Stop making fun of me, oh my god! I’m f–king making you an album. I will not put it out if you keep making fun of my hair! Shut up!”

She made sure her fans knew that her rant was all a joke and that they can expect her to change up her black and lime-green hair soon. “I’m changing it after the doc comes out,” she promised. “It’ll be the end of an era. I’m gonna give you a new era. I have announcements to make, I got some s–t to put out. Anyway, doesn’t matter. Leave me alone. Let me live with my f–king hair that I’ve had for way too long. K? Shut the f–k up.”

Just last week, Eilish released a trailer for her upcoming documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, which will premiere in February 2021 in theaters and on Apple TV+. The documentary, directed by RJ Cutler, follows the star’s rise to fame, the release of her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, and her 2020 Grammy Awards sweep.
