Variety confirms that Billy Zane has been set to play Marlon Brando in the forthcoming movie Waltzing With Brando.
The indie feature that hails from writer and director Bill Fishman will be produced by Zane.
The film is based on a 2011 memoir by the iconic actor’s architect, Bernard Judge, titled Waltzing With Brando: Planning a Paradise in Tahiti. According to the outlet, the memoir tells the story of how Brando plucked Judge to build the world’s first environmentally sustainable private retreat on a Tahitian island.
It is still unknown who will play Judge.
