Black Panther is one of the most critically acclaimed and awarded Marvel movies of all time – and it just picked up a couple of more accolades at the 50th annual NAACP Image Awards.

The Marvel superhero flick received a total of 14 nods at this awards ceremony, which celebrates the accomplishments of people of color. When push came to shove, Black Panther managed to win majority of the awards it was nominated for, including the coveted outstanding motion picture honor.

Black Panther wasn’t the only big winner of the night. ABC sitcom Black-ish came out victorious in several TV categories, including outstanding comedy series. The stars of the show, Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Marcus Scribner and Marsai Martin slayed in the acting field, and all won awards in their respective categories.

This year’s NAACP Image Awards marked half a century of this groundbreaking ceremony, organized by National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
