After becoming one of the highest-grossing films of all time, it was only a matter of time as to when the sequel to Black Panther would be announced.
And now, friends, that time has come.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, director of the Marvel blockbuster, Ryan Coogler, has officially signed a deal to write and direct Black Panther 2. Apparently, the 32-year-old quietly closed the deal to do so a few months ago.
Coogler is likely to write the script next year with production set to commence in either late 2019 or early 2020, though this has yet to be confirmed by Marvel.
Either way, Wakanda forever!
