Blackpink has one of the most devoted fanbases on the K-pop scene, and they can count on their millions of fans to tune in every time they drop a new music video. “How You Like That” was no exception, and shattered a major YouTube record.

“How You Like That” broke YouTube’s 24-hour viewing record, with more than 82 million views over the 24-hour span since its release. It’s also the fastest music video in YouTube history to get 100 million views – it only took it around 32 hours to reach this number.

The record for the most-viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours was previously held by “Boy with Luv” by BTS and Halsey. Blackpink also briefly held this record with their hit single “Kill This Love” in 2019.

“How You Like That” will be featured on the group’s upcoming debut Korean-language studio album. The album still doesn’t have a title or an official release date but is expected to hit the shelves this September.
