BLACKPINK vocalist Rosé announced that her much-anticipated debut solo album will be released next week.

The K-pop singer made the announcement on Instagram, sharing two images with the March 12 release date and teaser images from the upcoming album.

While details about the tracklist and title weren’t revealed, one of the preview images has a few words in English just barely visible through the smoke with the singer’s name and reads “No Way Out” and “You Are Now…”

Rosé first announced her solo project in January with a 30-second teaser and she gave a sneak peek during the band’s January’s Livestream concert, The Show, in which she performed the track “Gone”.

Rosé is the second BLACKPINK member to go on a solo career, following Jennie, who released her chart-topping hit “Solo” in 2018. Jennie became the first K-pop female artist to reach 600 million views on YouTube.

BLACKPINK’s video for “Ddu-du Ddu-du” reached 1.5 billion views at the end of last month and the group was recently named goodwill ambassadors for the UN Climate Change Conference.
