Bob Dylan will be opening the newly renovated Met Philadelphia at the end of the year.

Eric Blumenfeld announced the news that the 110-year-old venue, which has recently undergone $56 million worth of renovation, will be hosting a series of concerts this December. Bob Dylan will be kicking things off with a performance on December 3rd.

Following Dylan’s performance will be Weezer, Ween, Lindsey Stirling, Charlie Wilson, PnB Rock and Kurt Vile and the Violators.

“We are thrilled to offer an eclectic series of opening shows that will truly offer something for everyone at The Met,” Geoffrey Jordan, the Regional President of Live Nation Philadelphia said following the announcement.

“We are grateful to the many artists who are just as excited as we are for The Met and want to be a part of our inaugural season. We would also like to thank our many great partners who helped make The Met’s restoration possible.”
