CBS has given us one of their most beloved sitcoms of the 2020s with Bob ❤ Abishola, but its final season is just around the corner. The hit series will return for its fifth season this winter, but this will also mark the final chapter of Bob and Abishola’s amazing love story.

Over the course of the past few seasons, Bob ❤ Abishola chronicled the story of Bob Wheeler, the owner of a successful family sock company, who falls for a Nigerian nurse Abishola Adebambo, after suffering a mild heart attack.

Billy Gardell and Folake Olowofoyeku played titular roles in this series, while the supporting cast included Christine Ebersole, Matt Jones, Maribeth Monroe, Shola Adewusi, Barry Shabaka Henley, Vernee Watson, and Anthony Okungbowa, among others.

Chuck Lorre, Gina Yashere, and Matt Ross will produce the final season of Bob ❤ Abishola, and they’re expecting great things from the last chapter of this story.

“Bob ❤ Abishola is about an unlikely love story, but also the premise that immigrants make America great. We’ve loved bringing these stories to life and are excited for fans to see the final chapter of these two families, and the incredible work of this talented cast and crew,” said the trio in a statement.

The final season of Bob ❤ Abishola will feature 13 episodes, and it’s set to return to CBS on February 12, 2024.
