Bobby Flay is hanging up his apron.

After nearly three decades, the television chef and the Food Network are parting ways.

Known for his high energy style that includes cooking Southwestern and Mexican cuisines, Bobby has hosted a series of his own shows such as Beat Bobby Flay, Boy Meets Grill, Brunch at Bobby’s, Throwdown! with Bobby Flay, and Grillin’ and Chillin’.

As one of the network’s most famous faces, the 56-year-old chef also served as a judge on Iron Chef America, Chopped, and The Next Food Network Star.

According to reports, the celebrity chef’s contract with the Food Network is due to expire at the end of the year and negotiations have now ceased, bringing to an end their 27-year relationship.

Time will tell where the grill master is headed, but he may choose to just marinate in his own juices for a bit.
