Lessons in Chemistry is one of the most highly-anticipated new shows coming our way this fall, and Apple TV+ just added some more fuel to the fire! The first full trailer for this mini-series is here, and it sees Brie Larson transforming into the most unconventional TV chef that you’ll ever see.

Based on Bonnie Garmus’s best-selling novel of the same name, Lessons in Chemistry centers on an aspiring chemist Elizabeth Zott. She embarks on an unusual journey after her dream of being a scientist is put on hold in the patriarchal society of the 1950s.

“When Elizabeth finds herself fired from her lab, she accepts a job as a host on a TV cooking show, and sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives — and the men who are suddenly listening — a lot more than recipes,” reads the show’s official synopsis.

Lessons in Chemistry hails from Lee Eisenberg, and its supporting cast includes Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Kevin Sussman, Patrick Walker, Thomas Mann, Kevin Sussman, and Beau Bridges.

Lessons in Chemistry will feature a total of eight episodes, set to stream on Apple TV+ this fall. The first two episodes will be released on October 13, while the remaining six will air weekly.
