Brie Larson is gearing up for her big TV comeback with Lessons in Chemistry and Apple TV+ finally gave us a first look at this show. The new teaser for this highly-anticipated series sees Larson playing a cooking show host who uses her platform in the most extraordinary way.

Lessons in Chemistry is based on Bonnie Garmus’ hit book of the same name, and it centers on an aspiring scientist Elizabeth Zott. After getting fired from her lab, Elizabeth reluctantly agrees to host a TV cooking show and uses it to educate housewives watching at home about scientific topics, while craving to return to her lab.

Most people know Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel from the MCU movies, but she actually got her big break on television. Her rise to prominence started with her role in the Showtime comedy-drama series United States of Tara before she broke into Hollywood and won the Oscar for Room.

Lessons in Chemistry will premiere on Apple TV+ later this year, with Lee Eisenberg serving as showrunner. In addition to Larson, the series will also star Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Kevin Sussman, Patrick Walker, Thomas Mann, Kevin Sussman, and Beau Bridges.
