Netflix never had any trouble attracting big-name talent, and they did it once again! Brie Larson just joined their original movie I’m Thinking Of Ending Things, directed by renowned filmmaker Charlie Kaufman.

Netflix’s latest is based on the novel by Iain Reid, published in 2016. It tells the story of a couple on their way to a secluded farm, who takes an unexpected detour along the way. After she finds herself stranded in a deserted high school, the woman is left reexamining her life and thinking of a way to end things with her boyfriends.

I’m Thinking Of Ending Things has been described as an exploration of the human psyche, free will, the value of relationships, fear, and the limitations of solitude. Larson already had a chance to explore the depth of these emotions with her Oscar-winning performance in Room, and we’re sure she’ll do a fantastic job.

Before this movie hits Netflix, we’ll get to see Larson as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel and yet untitled Avengers 4. She’ll also star opposite Michael B. Jordan in Just Mercy.
