If you were born back in the ‘90s, Britney Spears was definitely the queen of your heart and Baby One More Time was th album that started it all. It’s been 20 years since this iconic record hit the shelves, and Pop Princess celebrated its anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram post.
Britney said she can’t believe it’s been two decades since she dropped this album which transformed her into a hero of a whole generation, and thanked her fans for supporting her for such a long time.
“It’s definitely been the journey of a lifetime, full of ups and downs, but I’m grateful for every single moment of it all. Getting to know you all over the years has been such an incredible experience, and has made this all worth it,” wrote Britney Spears.
She released additional eight albums after Baby One More Time, but we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for the next one. Britney is currently taking an indefinite work hiatus, so she could focus on her family after her father suffered a life-threatening illness.
