If you’re seeking Amy, she may have been at Britney Spears’ wedding.
The pop star walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” in a custom gown designed by Donatella Versace as she and Sam Asghari tied the knot. The pair first met while filming Britney’s music video for her 2016 single “Slumber Party” and got engaged last September, revealing the happy news on Instagram.
Sam posted a photo of the lovebirds embracing while the bride-to-be showed off her 4-carat round-cut diamond ring designed by Forever Diamonds NY’s jeweler, Roman Malayev.
The couple’s wedding was an intimate affair in Los Angeles, with just 60 of their friends and family members in attendance. Amongst those who watched the fitness model and “Toxic” singer say “I do” were Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, and Drew Barrymore.
Britney’s mother, father, and sister were not present at the event following the recent legal dispute regarding the artist’s conservatorship. In November, Britney was able to finally terminate the conservatorship which had been involuntarily placed under by her family 13 years ago.
This is, of course, not the 40-year-old singer’s first marriage. She was previously married to Kevin Federline with whom she shares sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Unfortunately, the teenagers didn’t make it to the ceremony.
The singer’s childhood friend, Jason Alexander, to whom she was married for 55 hours, attempted to crash the wedding, leading to his arrest. Luckily, neither the wedding party nor the guests seemed to be at the venue at the time.
This is surely the third time lucky. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
