We live in the world of infinite reboots and revivals and bringing the Mickey Mouse Club back wouldn’t hurt. Even the biggest star of the show seems to think so. Britney Spears recently gave her thumbs up to this hypothetical future project.
Before becoming pop music sensation, Spears was just another fresh face in the cast of the popular children’s show. That was where she met some of the biggest music legends of her generation – Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera. The star-studded cast of Mouseketeers also included Hollywood A-lister Ryan Gosling and the star of The Americans, Keri Russell.
They’ve all been busy after leaving MMC behind, but the 25th anniversary is just around the corner. Would they show up to celebrate it and reminisce about the good old days? Toxic singer would definitely try to find the time in her busy schedule to meet up with the old gang.
“I would definitely show up. I would go, definitely. It was a great time. It was probably one of the most special times in my life.” said the singer during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Let’s hope the rest of her co-stars are listening and feeling just as enthusiastic about the possible reunion. Imagine having Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera in the same room again. Our ‘90s senses are already tingling!
