“Butter” shattered several records and become one of the songs of the summer since coming out back in May, and BTS found a way to make it even more epic. They tapped Megan Thee Stallion for a new remix of the song, which somehow sounds even better than the original.

The collaboration between the K-pop band and Grammy-winning rapper was a long time coming, and it took some time before the new version of “Butter” saw the light of day. Stallion’s label tried to block its release, but the rapper ensured its release by taking legal action and claimed that the delay of its release would have a “devastating impact to her relationships with her fans and with other recording artists in the music industry.”

The “Butter” remix featuring Stallion still has the same catchy vibe as the original version, but she elevated it with a couple of new verses, such as “I remember writing flows in my room in college / Now I need global entry to the shows I’m rocking.”

This epic remix has the potential of propelling “Butter” to the top of the charts, but the song already spent several weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 following its release. It also broke the record for the most viewed music video on YouTube in the first 24 hours.
