Disney+ introduced us to several epic Star Wars shows in the past few years, and they’re showing no signs of stopping. The Acolyte is the latest Disney+ series taking us to the galaxy far, far away, and the streaming giant gave us a taste of things to come with a new trailer.

The Acolyte will take us back to the final days of the High Republic and it’s inviting us to explore its shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers. A respected Jedi master Sol (Lee Jung-jae) will guide us on this journey, along with a former Padawan Mae (Amandla Stenberg).

Mae is a powerful warrior from Sol’s past, who finds herself swept up into a sinister mystery. She must join forces with her former Jedi master Sol and investigate a series of crimes, each one more menacing than the last.

Squid Game’s Lee Jung-jae and The Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg lead the star-studded cast of this series, which also includes Manny Jacinto (The Good Place), Dafne Keen (Logan), Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll), Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), Rebecca Henderson (Single Drunk Female), and Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix).

The Acolyte will feature a total of eight episodes, and the first two will debut on Disney+ on June 4.
