Several members of BTS announced their solo albums in recent months and Jimin is the next one in line. The member of the popular K-pop group is getting ready to drop his debut solo album FACE later this spring.

FACE will hit the shelves on March 24, and it’s been described as the “story of fronting his true self and making a new leap forward as an artist.” Jimin’s goal is to use this album to present his own musicality with distinct timbre and impeccable dance performance.

It was just a matter of time before Jimin started working on solo music after several members of BTS did the same. J-hope and RM recently released their debut solo albums, while Jin made waves with his debut solo single “The Astronaut”. Suga, V, and Jungkook will soon follow in their footsteps and they’re all currently working on solo material.

The announcement of Jimin’s solo album doesn’t come as a shocker for his hardcore fans, since he teased its release during a stream that he hosted on Weverse two weeks ago.

“I’m currently preparing lots of things that I can do together with you guys around that time. I’m planning lots of different kinds of things we can do to have fun together and enjoy ourselves, so I think you can safely look forward to it,” said Jimin according to Soompi.
