Camila Cabello was supposed to hit the road later this spring and promote her new album Romance by touring across the world. She decided to put these plans on hold and postpone her tour to a later date due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The “Havana” singer explained her decision to reschedule her tour dates in an emotional Instagram post and said she felt it’s important to take extreme precautions to protect her team and her fans in this moment of crisis.
“I’m truly heartbroken to say that we’ve decided we need to postpone the tour… We can’t start rehearsals without putting people at risk and with so much up in the air with no real and definitive end in sight, I feel this is the responsible thing to do,” wrote Cabello on Instagram.
The singer was supposed to kick off the tour with a concert at Oslo Spektrum on May 26th and stay on the road for the next four months. The tour dates are expected to be rescheduled, but it’s still impossible to tell when she’s going to be able to hit the road again.
