Camila Cabello gave us a series of aesthetically pleasing videos over the years, but her latest sees her exploring her funny side. The video for “Liar” is as hilarious as they get and it sees the young singer re-living the same nightmare over and over again.
Cabello joined forces with Dave Meyers, who previously directed the video for her Shawn Mendes collaboration “Señorita”. This video, once again, proved they’re a match made in heaven, and we wouldn’t judge you if you kept re-watching it all day long.
“Liar” opens with the singer having a disastrous date with her rich boyfriend, wishing she was anywhere else. Cabello ends up literally choking from the experience and going through a series of Groundhog Day-inspired scenarios before finally managing to escape the nightmare she’s been living.
“Liar” was officially released as a single on September 5th, alongside her new song “Shameless”. Both songs will be featured on her upcoming sophomore album Romance, which still doesn’t have an official release date.
