The ceremony may have been in Bilbao, Spain, but Havana was the hottest place to be at this year’s MTV European Music Awards.

The EMAs were hosted by Most Girls singer and Pitch Perfect actress, Hailee Steinfeld, who also performed the single Back to Life from her upcoming film Bumblebee.

Veteran singer, Janet Jackson, was presented with the Global Icon Award to honor her 45-year career, but the night belonged to Camila Cabello. The 21-year-old took home Best Song and Best Video for Havana (featuring Young Thug), as well as Best US/Worldwide Act and Best Artist.

Nicki Minaj, who performed the song Women Like Me with Little Mix, claimed Best Hip-Hop and Best Look.

Other performers on the night included Panic! At the Disco (who won Best Alternative), Muse, and Best Electronic winners, Marshmello.
