Camila Cabello recently announced her new album Familia and gave us ש taste of things to come with the new single “Don’t Go Yet”. The music video for this song perfectly captures the essence of her upcoming album and it’s a true family affair.

The music video opens with the singer driving a classic convertible and arriving at a fancy mansion in a glamorous outfit. We later get to see her attending a vibrant party with her friends and family, and several of her real family members actually appeared in the video.

While discussing “Don’t Go Yet” with Zane Lowe, Cabello described it as a song about being free and revealed she got the inspiration while spending more time with her family during coronavirus lockdowns.

“I think being in Miami for so long and having more family around me and speaking Spanish more made me feel, I don’t know, just kind of brought me back. I think my roots went deeper in a way that I really needed,” explained the singer.

“Don’t Go Yet” will serve as the lead single on Cabello’s upcoming third studio album Familia, which still doesn’t have an official release date.
