The Canadian sitcom Letterkenny has been going strong for almost a decade, but all good things must come to an end. The 12th season of this beloved show will return to Hulu this December, but it will also mark its final chapter.

This half-hour comedy borrows its name from the small, rural, Canadian community of Letterkenny where it’s set. Its residents belong to one of three groups—the hicks, the skids, and the hockey players—and they’re constantly feuding with each other over seemingly trivial matters.

Jared Keeso created the series and played the lead role, while the supporting cast includes Nathan Dales, Michelle Mylett, K. Trevor Wilson, Dylan Playfair, Andrew Herr, and Tyler Johnston.

Justin Stockman, VP of content development and programming of the show’s production company Bell Media, said they’re excited for all the laughs that the final season will bring along.

Letterkenny is a pop culture, Canadian TV phenomenon, and while we’re sad to see Wayne and his buds leave our screens…  Thank you to Jared Keeso […] for bringing Crave audiences into the wickedly funny, small-town Canadian world of Letterkenny over 12 seasons,” said Stockman in a statement.

Six episodes of the final season of Letterkenny will premiere on the Canadian platform Crave on December 25 and start streaming on Hulu one day later.
