Cardi B and Lizzo are two of the brightest stars on the current rap scene, and their collaboration was a long time coming. Two hip-hop queens finally joined forces on their new single “Rumors”, and the music video for this track is as divine as it gets.

The Tanu Muino-directed video draws obvious inspiration from Greek mythology and references the muses from Disney’s Hercules. Throughout the video, Cardi B and Lizzo can be seen rocking golden attires and togas that look straight out of Ancient Greece, along with their backup dancers.

Cardi B is no stranger to collaborating with other female artists on the hip-hop scene, and it was just a matter of time before she teamed up with Lizzo. They teased “Rumors” on social media a few days before it came out, with a cheeky clip that shows Lizzo giving Cardi B a wake-up call.

“Rumors” is Lizzo’s first new release since 2019, when her third studio album Cuz I Love You came out. It’s expected to be featured on her upcoming fourth studio album, but she’s yet to share details about this record, including its title and release date.
