Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion took the music world by storm with their hit collaboration “WAP” last summer, and it seems the rap stars wouldn’t mind doing it once again. While celebrating the first anniversary of “WAP” on social media, the pair hinted that “another collab” might be happening at some point in the future.

Over the weekend, Cardi B tweeted that she “can’t believe wappity WAP turned one.” She also wrote: “we should do it again sometime,” while tagging Thee Stallion.

Thee Stallion quickly responded by tweeting: “Happy WAPIVERSARY,” and telling Cardi B that “the people deserve another collab.”

Upon its release, “WAP” drew some controversy due to its explicit lyrics but received overwhelming critical acclaim. The song turned out to be a massive hit and was streamed close to 100 million times in the first week. It debuted on No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100, staying there for four weeks while also becoming six-time platinum in the United States.

Since “WAP,” Cardi B also released the single “Up,” which similarly drew praise from the critics while hitting the No.1 on Billboard Hot 100. The track serves as the second single from her upcoming sophomore studio album.

Megan Thee Stallion, on the other hand, released her debut studio album Good News. The record peaked at No.2 on US Billboard 200 charts and was marked as one of the best albums of 2020.
