Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion gave us one of the buzziest hip-hop collaborations in recent years with “WAP” and they’re back for another ride! The amazing duo joined forces for the Latin-infused single “Bongos” from Cardi B’s upcoming second studio album.

Directed by UnderWonder’s Tanu Muino, who gave us such masterpieces as Harry Styles’ “As It Was” and Lil Nas X’s “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”, the music video for “Bongos” is one lavish affair. Cardi B even went so far as to say it took $2.4 million to bring it to life.

“I feel like this video is just very beautiful; like, it has choreography, but it’s a location video… This type of stuff costs a lot of money for the videos and rehearsals every day — it costs a lot of money, it’s a lot of work,” she explained during an appearance on the iHeartMedia radio show Way Up with Angela Yee.

The epic visual was filmed in Malibu, California, and it shows the duo rapping their hearts out in a series of elaborate outfits, including oversized feathered hats. Some of the scenes are filmed on a sun-kissed beach, while the rest of the video takes us to a fancy Malibu mansion with an outdoor pool and designer furniture.
