Hip-hop artists Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are releasing a new song this Friday.

The singers announced the release of “WAP” on their social media accounts with the single’s cover art. The photo features them posing back to back, looking like twins, with their hair intertwined while wearing “WAP” branded hoop earring and sticking their tongues out.

In Cardi B’s post, the post reads, “Single droppin this Friday! WAP feat. @theestallion #Wap.” Megan Thee Stallion’s post reads, “WAP @iamcardib and The Hot Girl Coach this Friday!!!”

This release may indicate that the song is part of a new, long-promised Cardi B album. Megan released Suga this year which featured “Savage Remix” with Beyonce.

Just five days ago, Megan Thee Stallion posted a tearful video to Instagram live which she described as “the worst experience of my life,” referring to her getting shot in both feet and needed surgery to remove the bullets after attending a Hollywood party.

Cardi B’s debut album, Invasion of Privacy, was released in 2018 and has been certified triple-platinum. Since then she’s released singles including “Please Me,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars that reached No. 1 on the hip-hop/R&B and rap charts last year and she starred in Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow.
