Cardi B has been literally everywhere in 2018, and it seems that’s not going to change this year. The “Bodak Yellow” singer is already working on her second album, and she’s hoping to drop it on a very special date.
Cardi B announced the news in one of her Instagram Lives, but there’s still a lot we don’t know at this point. The rapper said she’s hoping her sophomore album will be done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out, but nothing is official just yet.
Her multiplatinum debut was released on April 5, so it’s highly unlikely she’ll be done recording a whole new album by then. Cardi herself admitted it might not be possible to finish the album by then since she’s extremely busy right now.
Cardi B is currently prepping a deluxe edition of Invasion of Privacy. It will come out January 25 and feature two brand-new songs – “Money” and “Press”.
