Cardi B will star in a Pepsi commercial to be aired on February 3rd during the 2019 Super Bowl.

Representing Pepsi on a commercial is a major deal for the rapper—and one that any athlete, musician, model, actor, or public figure would dream to get. Cardi also joins a long list of successful artists and athletes who’ve starred in a Pepsi commercial.

Christian Aguilera, Beyoncé, Mar J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Britney Spears, Ray Charles, and Nicki Minaj are some of the musicians who’ve been featured. Among athletes, soccer legend David Beckham, and NFL player Drew Brees are the most recent athletes to appear.

The Super Bowl weekend will also see the “I Like It” rapper headline the Super Bowl Music Festival on February second. He will be joined by rappers Lil Baby, Lin Yachty, Migos and singer Bruno Mars for a show in Atlanta.

After the show, she’ll also wait to find out if she wins any Grammy Awards. She was nominated in five categories. The 26-year-old also had the chance to perform at halftime during the Super Bowl but she turned down the offer. As her replacement, Maroon 5 will be joined by rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi on the big stage.
