Christmas is still months away, but Carrie Underwood is already preparing a gift for her fans. The country superstar announced she’s plotting her first-ever Christmas album, titled My Gift.

Underwood revealed that she always wanted to make a Christmas album, and now felt like the perfect time to release it since it’s more important than ever to focus on the true meaning of Christmas.

“Even though it has been a tough year for all of us, sometimes I feel like the greatest realizations can be inspired by the most difficult times, and make us more grateful for the things we do have and for what truly matters,” said the singer in a statement.

My Gift will serve as a follow-up to her 2018 album Cry Pretty, and it’s expected to be released on September 25th. It will feature a combination of Underwood’s original material and traditional holiday classics we all know and love.
