We don’t wanna wait for our lives to be over…

And we’re glad that neither do the cast of Dawson’s Creek. The teenage series ended in 2003 with the main 4 cast members doing rather well for themselves.

Dawson himself, James van der Beek, went on to star in Don’t Trust the B**** in Apartment 23; Joshua Jackson, who played Pacey, can be seen in The Affair.
Katie Holmes, who starred as Joey, has acted in several Hollywood blockbusters (and was Mrs. Tom Cruise for a while), while Jen — Michelle Williams — has been nominated for 4 Academy Awards.

Now, to celebrate 20 years since the show’s premiere (yes, we feel old!), Entertainment Weekly got the gang all back together.

The magazine released 4 editions, each with a different cast member on the cover.

“I think we’ve all sort of seen each other over the years, but not everybody all together. And never for long enough,” said Katie.

So can we look forward to a revival a la Will & Grace and Roseanne?

“It would have to be a reinvention of sorts,” James said. Katie backed him up saying, “What I love about this show is that it existed at a time pre-social media, pre-internet, and it was nostalgic when we were shooting it. So I really like it where it is, to be honest.”

Perhaps there is still an opportunity to “say a little prayer for I”.
