Now that’s what you call coming full circle!

The NCIS franchise, a spinoff to JAG is having a sort of original/spinoff reunion if you will.

Multiple outlets confirm that JAG star, Catherine Bell, will be joining her co-star David James Elliott on NCIS: Los Angeles. Elliott has signed on for a multi-episode arc on the show as Capt. Harmon “Harm” Rabb Jr. He will be joined by Bell, who will be reprising her role as Lt. Col. Sarah “Mac” MacKenzie for the series’ season finale on May 19.

“Catherine’s Mac was a strong, smart woman who held her own, and then some, in a male-dominated world,” NCIS: LA executive producer R. Scott Gemmill said in a statement. “Her character paved the way for other strong female leads. Not only is it great to be working together again as friends, but to be able to write for Catherine and have her same character interact with our NCIS: Los Angeles characters now, that’s wonderfully surreal. It feels like everything has come full circle.”

JAG ran for 10 seasons (1995-2005).
