“Cats”: Taylor Swift Has No Regrets

Taylor Swift in "Cats"

Cats was slammed by the critics and it will go down in history as one of the biggest box office bombs of its time, but you won’t see Taylor Swift complaining about it. The pop superstar says she has no regrets about working on this musical because she had a really great time making it.

Swift discussed this box office bomb in a recent cover story for Variety, and said she had a really great time working on “that weird-a– movie”.

“I’m not gonna retroactively decide that it wasn’t the best experience. I never would have met Andrew Lloyd Webber or gotten to see how he works, and now he’s my buddy. I got to work with the sickest dancers and performers. No complaints,” the singer told the magazine.

In addition to starring in Cats, Taylor Swift also wrote a new original song “Beautiful Ghosts” for its soundtrack. She scored a Golden Globe nomination for her work on this track alongside Lloyd Webber but eventually lost to Elton John’s “I’m Gonna Love Me Again” from Rocketman.
