Dick Wolf already gave us two successful TV franchises with Law & Order and Chicago Fire, and he’s currently busy developing the third. CBS renewed his shows FBI and FBI: Most Wanted for new seasons and ordered another spin-off called FBI: International.

The legendary TV producer said CBS is a great creative partner and thanked them for understanding the value of growing the FBI brand with another spin-off. “The showrunners, writers, producers, cast, crew, and everyone on our team have delivered exciting and creative shows that clearly resonate with viewers. FBI: International offers us the opportunity to expand with a powerful new drama,” Wolf said in an official statement.

The new spin-off FBI: International will center on a group of elite agents traveling the world with a mission to protect Americans wherever they may be. Derek Haas, who previously collaborated with Dick Wolf on Chicago Fire and its spin-offs, will serve as the showrunner of this promising project.

FBI and FBI: Most Wanted have been renewed for the fourth and third season, respectively.
