Award season is in full swing and the best family-friendly films and TV programs of the year will be recognized by CBS next month. The Family Film & TV Awards nominations are in, and Barbie is leading the way with a total of four nods, followed by The Neighborhood with three.

Barbie is one of the main contenders for best family feature film, alongside Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and The Hill. It’s also in the running for the best ensemble feature film, in addition to receiving two nods for outstanding actor in a feature film (Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling).

On the TV side, CBS’s sitcom The Neighborhood is leading the way with three nods, including best ensemble series, alongside Loki, Percy Jackson and The Olympians, Star Trek: Picard, and Unstable.

David McKenzie of Associated Television International said “it is a distinct honor to bestow recognition upon those productions that exhibit unwavering dedication in delivering entertainment that resonates with viewers of every generation.”

The 26th annual Family Film and TV Awards will take place on January 27, 2024, with The Talk‘s Akbar Gbajabiamila and Amanda Kloots serving as hosts.
