There’s a saying that there are only two kinds of people in the world — those who are Irish, and those who wish they were.
And on St. Patrick’s Day, even Hollywood’s finest wish they were.
The 17th of March is traditionally observed as the death-day of Ireland’s foremost patron saint, but has, in later years, been commemorated by wearing green, getting drunk, and hopefully obtaining some extra luck.
Those embracing tradition included Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. (who has Irish stock on his father’s side):
