Celine Dion Announces World Tour and New Album

Celine Dion has some big news. 

The iconic singer took the stage at the Theater at the Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday and announced that an upcoming world tour and new album. 

Her North American “Courage World Tour” that will launch this fall, will mark Dion’s first US tour run in over a decade. 

“I’m so grateful to all the fans who have come to see my show in Las Vegas for so many years, and now I get the chance to create a brand new show and bring it to them in North America, and around the world,” the singer said in a statement. “I’m very excited about this tour, and my new album … coming later this year.”

Her new album is titled Courage and is set to drop in November. 

“I went through a lot and life had given time the tools…the way that I was raised…to find my inner strength, to keep going,” the singer said of the song, referring to the 2016 passing of her husband and manager René Angélil. “When I lost René…he wanted me back on stage. He wanted me to practice my passion. I wanted him to know that I’m fine, we’re fine.”

The “Courage World Tour” launches September 18 in Quebec City.
