A new day has come for Celine Dion.

The “Power of Love” singer concluded her Las Vegas residency this past weekend after an incredible 16 years. That’s 1,141 shows.

Her final performance at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace included a touching tribute to her late husband, René Angélil. René passed away in 2016 at the age of 73 following a very long battle with throat cancer. He and Celine had been together since 1987.

The Grammy award winner was joined on stage by her three children, 18-year-old René-Charles and 8-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson, as a montage of moments, including a photograph of her and René was shown on a screen.

“I’m both proud and humbled by what we’ve accomplished at the Colosseum since we began 16 years ago when René and I first shared this dream,” the 51-year-old songstress said. “This entire experience has been a huge part of my show business career… one that I will cherish forever. I have so many people to thank, but the most important ‘thank you’ goes to my fans, who gave us the opportunity to do what we love.”

Celine is planning to release her 12th English studio album, Courage, in November.
