Chance the Rapper is currently taking a break from touring, and he’s using this time to work on some pretty surprising new projects. The hip-hop star is currently in negotiations to play one of the key roles in the upcoming Sesame Street movie.

He would be joining Anne Hathaway, who’s set to play a history show host Sally Hawthorne, who’s trying to help the Sesame Street characters prove that Sesame Street truly exists after they’ve been thrown out of their own neighborhood.

The rest of the cast is yet to be revealed, but Bo Burnham is also expected to star in the project in an undisclosed role. Jonathan Krisel, whose previous credits include Portlandia and Baskets, will be in charge of directing the film.

Chance the Rapper landed a couple of voice roles over the years, but this will be his second major acting gig after horror-comedy Slice. He’s also set to host the reboot of prank show Punk’d, airing on the streaming service Quibi.
