Marvel fans were heartbroken after hearing that Daredevil won’t be coming back for a fourth Season, and so was the actor playing the titular hero. Charlie Cox recently broke silence on the shocking cancellation and said he was very saddened after hearing the news.

The pending launch of the streaming service Disney+ led to the cancellation of several Marvel shows on Netflix, and Daredevil was the latest to hit the chopping block. This news took everyone by surprise because this superhero series was a huge success story and was responsible for launching a whole series.

Charlie Cox was as shocked as the rest of us after hearing the news, because he felt like there’s a lot of stories left to tell.

“It’s weird to think there’s a chance I won’t be playing Matt Murdock ever again. That’s a bizarre feeling because that character has been such a huge part of my life for the last four and a half years,” said Cox.

Shortly after Daredevil was canceled, Marvel representatives said they’re looking forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future. It’s possible the show will return on Disney+, but nothing is official just yet and Cox said it’s too early to discuss the possibility of his return to the series.
