Almost a decade after their falling out on Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre are back in business! The duo will reunite on the set of Lorre’s upcoming Max comedy series How To Be a Bookie after Sheen was cast in a recurring role.

How To Be a Bookie will be led by Sebastian Maniscalco, and it centers on a veteran bookie who struggles to survive the impending legalization of sports gambling, increasingly unstable clients, and a lifestyle that bounces him around every corner of Los Angeles.

This show will mark the first collaboration between Sheen and Lorre since Two and a Half Men. This series made Sheen the highest-paid actor on television at the time, but his contract was terminated and he was replaced with Ashton Kutcher after making derogatory comments about Lorre.

Sheen repeatedly apologized for his actions and tried to make amends in later years. Lorre himself admitted it took some time to get over everything that happened, but it’s all water under the bridge now.

“Time has passed and the episodes with Charlie are a joy to watch. There were a couple of years there where I couldn’t watch it. It was too hurtful. I can enjoy them all now. You know, he did a brilliant job,” he told Variety last year.
