The teaser trailer shows the whole gang back together and we couldn’t be more delighted to see the familiar faces of Woodie, Jesse and of course, Buzz Lightyear. Among the regular characters is newcomer ‘Forkie’ who is clearly the odd one out, even when placed next to a three-eyed alien.
The dreamy, cheerful trailer is interrupted by the peculiar newcomer who screams “I don’t belong here!” and consequently causes the whole gang to topple over. Could t his be a sign of trouble yet to come?
The official synopsis of the movie reads:
“Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called ‘Forky’ to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”
Toy Story 4 is scheduled for release June 21, 2019.
