iHeartRadio Music Awards celebrated the very best musical moments of last year and handed out shiny trophies to some of our favorite artist. Ladies ruled the night, and many of the major awards went to female hit-makers, led by Ariana Grande.

Grande took home a total of three awards – artist of the year, female artist of the year and pop album of the year with Sweetener. She wasn’t the only person to walk away with three trophies at the end of the night. Newcomer Ella Mai dominated R&B categories, and won accolades for R&B song of the year, R&B artist of the year and best new R&B artist.

This year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards took place on March 14, and were hosted by T-Pain, who recently came out victorious at the end of singing competition show The Masked Singer.
